A-moral - "Friends of Europe" from the album "Kicks for all jesters" 2007

lyrics

I’m asking myself a question now
Why does Europe need us?
I feel we’ll make good friends,
So long as we’re the puppets

I few things need to be done
To please Europe
First, we’ll set up military bases here
Or the friendship will be postponed

They want us to shut down four reactors
Otherwise we’ll be done with our membership
We will all work for Europe for free
To be good friends with them

How they love us, they want us with them
Working together for a peaceful world
They’ll be in banks, at good posts
We’ll be sewing clothes for them for free

Chorus:
We’re entering Europe
Sing from the heart
We’ll be Europeans
Clap your hands
We’ll settle for the price later
The important thing is I’m a member of the European Union

What is the conclusion from the whole story?
Bulgaria can’t turn into Earthsea
No matter how gently they pet our heads
We’ll be Europe’s servants

Chorus:
We’re entering Europe
Sing from the heart
We’ll be Europeans
Clap your hands
We’ll settle for the price later
The important thing is I’m a member of the European Union
